Veterans Transportation Program

Through our network of volunteers, we are capable of offering, at no cost to Veterans and their immediate family members, scheduled transportation to and from medical and dental appointments. The Military order of the Purple Heart provided PVAC a handicap-accessible van and Iredell Statesville Community Enrichment Corporation provided PVAC a full-sized car for our Veteran Transportation Program. Both vehicles are fueled and maintained by generous PVAC donations. Our reliable PVAC volunteers will pick you up and remain on-site throughout your appointment. Call to schedule transportation.

Veterans Feeding Program

PVAC seeks to partner with local churches and pantries that have a new or existing program that offers food at no cost to Veterans and family members. Each individual location that participates with the Veterans Feeding Program provides volunteers and resources from their congregation and community. PVAC will financially donate to this program monthly. Since COVID-19, several churches discontinued their Veterans Feeding Programs due to a lack of attendance. PVAC is looking to rebuild our Veterans Feeding Program. Together we can provide assistance to Veterans and their families dealing with food insecurities.
